More Than a Dad in the Stands
Drumline Dad started with a folding chair, a camera, and a father who couldn't stop watching his kid perform.
One Dad. One Camera. One Obsession.
It started the way most great things do — completely by accident. When my kid joined the drumline, I showed up to the first rehearsal with my phone out, ready to capture a few clips. Four years later, I had thousands of hours of footage, a YouTube channel, and a community of drumline families from across the country who felt exactly the same way I did.
Drumline is one of the most demanding, most disciplined, and most underappreciated art forms in the world. These performers wake up before sunrise, push through heat and cold, and dedicate themselves to a craft that most people walk right past. I decided someone should stop and pay attention.
Drumline Dad is my way of doing that — documenting the journey, celebrating the wins, and making sure every performer knows their work is seen.
"Someone should stop and pay attention."
Every Beat Deserves to Be Heard
"To celebrate the dedication, discipline, and artistry of drumline performers and their families — and to build a community where every performer feels seen, valued, and proud of the work they put in.
"
Our Values
Celebrate the Performers
These athletes and artists put in work that most people never see. We show up to make sure it doesn't go unnoticed.
Build Community
Drumline families are a special breed. We create a space where parents, performers, and fans can connect and share the passion.
Document the Journey
Championships are great, but the journey is everything. We capture the rehearsals, the travel, the nerves, and the triumphs.
Honor the Craft
Drumline is a serious discipline. We treat it with the respect it deserves — every video, every post, every story.
